CDMX is a super place to live, you will find places, "Colonias", with an aroma of europe if you are looking this kind of style, but also you can find the American Style in the condos , depends of your preferences and budget you will find the right place at right value , it could take weeks for find the right place then plan minimum 8 weeks to find the place and close the deal , you will request a Policy as part of the request to rent a house or apartment.

You will be able to open a bank account if you have Local ID , with passport in the major of the big banks you wont be able to open an account , once you have your Local ID you will invest 45mn to have your bank account, I suggest you have a look to the major banks for the options they will give you but focus on the international movements from your account it is something you need to ask before you decide the name of the bank.

Mexico has international options but... the plans if we compare with others countries are very expensive then try to choose a plan that give you internet for navigation , I mean think in waze or google maps you will need , and if you need to upgrade the plan after first month do it.
PLEASE ask that your line is not a reused one , I will be a nightmare if the operator give you a line that belong previously to another person, you will receive thousands of calls that don't have nothing to be with you( my case).
Health Insurance

I am coming from a country where people believe have a poor health system , but Mexico has a system that in my opinion need to be improve, you will find doctors in the supermarkets , maybe you will ask yourself the reason why, and the answer will come to you when you go to the hospital for a flue and feel a great attention but after you recieve an spectacular service you receive the bill ! , Medical service, private ones at Mexico are , lets say little expensive then people try to use the services available accoding the circunstances, for little issues you can start with doctors at pharmacies or supermarkets, they are really DOCTORS, then depends of the level of you health you can use other infrastructure available , my recommendation is that you have health insurance before to arrive and use your local insusrance health depending of the level of the circunstances.
Food
Familiarizing yourself with the local cuisine and grocery options.
Exploring nearby restaurants and markets for dining out or shopping.
Please ,Please understand that pique or picante is the soul of the food , the intention with the pique is not you feel bad it is the opposite is give to the food the best flavor as possible, the key is to understand that the pique sauce is the main ingredient of delicious and typical Mexican food.
Culture for Business
Understanding business etiquette and customs in the new country.

Sometimes the business people is very formal in the way to dress also as warm as any other Latin America countries.
